Wellcome., I am Vahan M. Misakyan and this is my portfolio-website. I'm a post-grad student currently enrolled at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture (GSAPP; MSAAD). My prior education in architecture is from YSUAC from which I've graduated with the Professional Diploma in Architecture in 2009 (B.Arch equivalent). By then I've done an internship in architectural design studio in Yerevan and worked for a construction company as a project manager. Following two years after the graduation I've freelanced/practiced architecture in Yerevan, Armenia "Interior designs" and have done independent research studies at the same University as well as worked for another
construction and
real-estate developing company.

Currently my project is to express the amalgamation of the thinking patterns of the society in architecture. As I believe architecture as a discipline has the power to influence and contribute in solving certain societal issues. And this website serves as a medium that I'm using at promoting design paradigms through the concepts "that are published in US, EU, and elswhere". I do not practice nor I offer to practice architecture in New York, however I'm interested working for an Architectural firm "that has an interesting project" or with the team of architects in NY or elswhere in the world "i.e. on interesting competition entries".
